Habitat for Humanity of Telluride Region serves low-income families in Southwestern Colorado. Our service area includes the ski resort and tourist towns of Telluride, Mountain Village, and Ouray and the surrounding counties of San Miguel, Ouray and the Rico growth area of Dolores County.

Habitat for Humanity of Telluride Region is committed to working with people in need and volunteers to provide decent, affordable housing for low-income families in San Miguel and Ouray Counties and the Rico Growth Area of Dolores County. Through volunteer labor, management expertise, and tax-deductible donations of money, labor and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates homes with the help of the families who will live in them.

We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and a partner affiliate of Habitat for Humanity of Colorado.

We have received a donation of land in Norwood, Colorado from the Board of County Commissioners of San Miguel County, Colorado. We have completed infrastructure improvements on the property. The first house is completed. It was a BlitzBuild House with Evans Construction Company of Telluride.

The second house and third houses are under construction. If you want to volunteer, call Volunteer Coordinator Jared Boyd at 970 417-3629 to sign up.

Two families have been selected for the second and third houses in Norwood. Amy Smith and her daughter, Chyenne; and Kristen Noonan and her son, Joshua.
